PET PORTRAIT pricing/sizes

I paint directly from the photo that you choose of your pet for the painting. It is super important to choose a photo that captures your pet how you see/remember them. I don't know your pet personally, so a good quality photo helps tremendously when painting your pet. The higher quality the photo is, the more realistic your painting will turn out. 

What do I look for when receiving the photos?

1.) CLEAR- Great quality is everything! Blurry photos are almost impossible to paint.

2.) BRIGHT/NATURAL LIGHTING- Photos taken outdoors are preferred. Please no photos with a filter or flash (these take away from the true coloring of your pet’s fur and facial features.)

3.) CLOSE UP HEADSHOTS- From your pet’s chest up.

I love being able to see every little detail in the eyes and nose- these really bring the painting to life. I do not paint full body portraits. *see the reference photos above for perfect examples

I highly recommend sending in more than one picture, so I can visualize which will look best on canvas. 

I paint a solid background color behind the portrait of your pet(s). I can paint any color that you would like! Not sure what color would look best? I can always recommend the perfect match!

Sending a photo of the color you would like is a great way for me to match it perfectly.

What is a varnish seal? 

A varnish seal is a PROTECTIVE COATING that is applied after the painting is completed. 

Why should I have my painting sealed?

To protect your painting for life! It prevents any staining, dust, UV rays, dirt, etc. from possibly ruining your pet portrait in the future. 

What are your options?

Gloss or matte - Personally, I love the way the glossy finish looks!

I accept a payment at the time of placing your order! I must receive the FULL payment before starting on your painting. This payment holds your spot on my waiting list.

My payment methods include: PayPal, Venmo, CashApp or an invoice. The invoice payment method is best if you prefer to use credit and/or if you are wanting to choose the payment plan option. 

Payment Options: 

1.) Pay in full upfront

2.) Pay 50% of total upfront, then pay the other 50% + shipping fee 2 weeks later

For international orders, I only accept PayPal as the payment option.

At the top of my order form, the turn-around time is displayed. I always let my customers know the time frame of when their painting should be complete as well. Once I begin working on your painting, I will reach out to you and keep you updated on the progress. 

NOTICE: If you are needing your painting completed by a certain date that is earlier than my turn-around time, please ask! Rush costs will be added and calculated depending on how far out I am booked. 

Once your painting is complete, I will send you a picture before I ship it off to make sure everything is how you pictured it to be!

I use USPS Priority Mail which typically takes 2-4 business days to deliver your painting.

I individually gift-wrap each painting and package them securely to make sure no damage is done!

* If you order a painting with 18x24 dimensions, the shipping cost will increase to $45+. This is because the package weight is heavier and the dimensions are larger.

I ship internationally from the United States! International shipping costs will be calculated separately.

If, for any reason, you need to cancel your pet portrait order after already finalizing your payment, please contact me within 30 days of placing your order. Full refunds will only be accepted if you cancel your order within the 30-day period of making your payment. No other refunds will be given after the 30-day period.
